Abstract
This paper concerns the solutions of the difference equation Xm+1 = Xm-l (1) where F: (0, (0) � (0, (0) is a piecewise linear map defined by {A, F eX) = � A' X � 1 A>l. 0< X < 1 It is of interest to note that for X =f::. 1, F (�) = 1 F eX) We also assume that all solutions of (1) have a domain of 71.., the set of integers.
