Abstract

Review

Princewill Sunday C. Ezekwonna's The Harbinger of Light is a theologically rich and historically grounded text that synthesizes biblical archetypes with the colonial and postcolonial experiences of Nigeria. Framed through a prophetic and philosophical lens, the work is anchored in Genesis 1:3–5 and other scriptural passages, offering moral commentary on divine illumination, leadership ethics, and national destiny. Each of the 20 chapters concludes with canonical reflections, emphasizing the book's instructional purpose for both individual and communal moral recalibration, thereby empowering the reader with a deeper understanding of these crucial themes.
